The H2STORY process

The H2STORY treatment process is low-cost, simple and effective. Two chemical-feed metering pumps deliver the VTX catalyst and an oxidant (typically hydrogen peroxide) at a controlled rate into a rapid in-line mixing stream. The reagents must not be pre-mixed, rather added simultaneously to the receiving wastewater stream. Powerful hydroxyl radicals are created that quickly oxidise the target compounds. After only a few minutes, the VTX catalyst, the oxidant and the target compounds are consumed to leave only benign products.

 

 

The process is effective within a pH range of 3.5 to 8.5. The quantities of VTX and oxidant required depend on the contamination level and other factors.
